Wall Sawing
Description
Wall sawing is a hydraulic powered saw that uses diamond blades to cut through masonry products. It is uses a track system which is fastened to the concrete surface. It is used to cut a perfectly straight and plumb line.
Application
The wall saw is used to cut thicker sections of heavily reinforced concrete and or concrete that is to be cut on a specific angle. Applications include but are not limited to:
- Walls 270mm thick or more
- Sawing of staircases
- Sawing of concrete from the underside of slabs
Depth
With the 2 types of wall sawing machines the maximum depth that each saw can cut is as follows:
- Small Wall Saw
- Cut to a maximum depth of 350mm deep
- Large Wall Saw
- Cut to a maximum depth of 730mm deep
